Am I insured?

Yes! At Cardiff Rent-A-Car we offer full comprehensive insurance as a standard inclusion in all of our hire rates. If you do happen to have a mishap, there is a $500 standard excess for all accident types, as long as you are over 25 and have a full licence. If you are 21 to 25 or don’t have a full licence the excess is $1500. For any pantech damage, the excess is $3000

What is included in the quoted rental price?

Every price that Cardiff Rent-A-Car quotes you will include comprehensive insurance, GST, government charges and an agreed amount of kilometres that suits your purpose for renting the vehicle so you can know up front how much your hire will cost – with no hidden costs.

Can I rent a vehicle if I am under 25?

Yes! At Cardiff Rent-A-Car we are happy to rent vehicles to customers who are under between the ages of 21-25 who hold a full licence. You will need to pay a small daily surcharge to cover the cost of the additonal insurance required, however If you do happen to have an accident you are fully covered by our included comprehensive insurance policy, with a standard excess of $1500 (pantech damage $3000 excess)

Can I rent a vehicle if I am under 21?

Unfortunately, due to insurance, we are not able to rent to any drivers who are under the age of 21.

What sorts of cars do you have?

At Cardiff Rent-A-Car we have economical 4 cylinder sedan cars to 6 cylinder family cars for those with people and luggage to move. All the cars are 4 door automatics with air conditioning and power steering, CD players etc.

We also have 8 and 12 seaters if you have more people to transport - handy for trips to the vineyards or trips to and from the airport!

What sort of commercial vehicles do you have?

Our commercials at Cardiff Rent-A-Car range from two wheel drive tray back utes, 1 tonne Hi-Ace long wheel base and super long wheel base vans and moving trucks with hydraulic tailgate lifters.

Do you supply blankets and trolleys?

Yes we do, they are included free of charge with truck hire only. You can also drop in and purchase packing tape, moving boxes and ropes at any time for a minimal charge.
